Rental Sales Representative

About the role

The Rental Sales Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and growing the client base within their territory by increasing rental revenue of Caterpillar and Allied equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers through various sources
• Travel within the territory to solicit orders
• Communicate with customers via phone or in-person
• Quoting prices
• Preparing sales contracts
• Coincating with rental personnel
• Maintaining customer relationships
• Resolving delivery issues
• Participating in trade shows

Qualifications

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer management skills
• A bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• Knowledge of equipment, safety procedures, and the ability to analyze information
• Outside sales activities, including overnight travel
• Physical capability to perform job duties
