Rental Sales Representative

About the role

The Rental Sales Representative is responsible for handling sales and marketing tasks, maximizing rate opportunities, and managing rental locations. This role involves working cross-functionally across various departments and maintaining customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Handle sales and sales process for inbound calls and outbound solicitation
• Execute the business unit's marketing plan
• Maintain current and accurate data within the company's marketing database
• Generate rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing customer base
• Coordinate overall inventory levels to meet customer demand
• Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing
• Reconcile all customer concerns, issues, and disputes
• Build constructive and effective relationships with both internal and external customers
• Communicate clearly and effectively about Ryder's product and service offerings
• Perform as an On-Call Representative on a voluntary basis

Requirements

• H.S. diploma/GED required
• One (1) year or more sales experience required
• DOT Regulated: No

Pay

• Hourly minimum pay range: $20.00
• Hourly maximum pay range: $22.00
