Rental Sales Representative
About the role
At Ryder, you'll be part of a dynamic team working in the essential industry since 1933. This role involves handling sales and marketing tasks, maximizing rate opportunities, and building relationships with customers.
Responsibilities
- Handle sales and sales process for inbound calls and outbound solicitation
- Execute the business unit's marketing plan
- Maintain current and accurate data within the company's marketing database
- Generate rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads
- Expand and maintain relationships with existing customer base
- Coordinate overall inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing
- Manage and reconcile customer concerns and disputes
- Drive profitable revenue growth by maintaining and growing customer relationships
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
- Perform on-call responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED required
- One (1) year or more sales experience required

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Goal-oriented, drive for results, assertive, and able to handle ambiguity
- High degree of initiative
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions
- Flexibility to operate and driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service skills

Compensation
