Responsibilities
- Promote Caterpillar equipment and Allied product rental
- Affect the rental of all products assigned to the Division's rent-to-rent fleet to all customers and markets
- Aid customers with equipment recommendations and technology advancements
- Ensure all equipment deliveries meet the conditions of the rental agreement
- Maintain customer satisfaction with products
Requirements
- Self-starter able to work with limited supervision
- Capable of developing objectives, setting priorities, and implementing ideas in a timely manner
- High mechanical aptitude required; must understand construction phases, job situations, and project conditions
- Excellent customer satisfaction skills and ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
- Good listener with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Innovative and creative; able to quickly evaluate facts, and maintain good judgment when making decisions
- Clean driving record and a valid driver's license required; capable of towing and operating equipment for demonstration purposes
- Strong PC skills and ability to self-develop and adapt to changing technology
- Frequent travel is required – overnight or out town via car or airplane
- Able to handle large volumes of work in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work shifts needed, including days, nights, and/or weekends to meet customer demands

Qualifications
- Minimum two years' sales experience
- Experience in a closely related industry, such as material handling, construction, engineering or equipment distribution is a plus

Pay
The starting compensation range is eligible for a base salary plus commissions with a probable income of more than $100,000. The final compensation is negotiable and subject to candidate’s experience and skills.
Schedule
Frequent travel is required – overnight or out town via car or airplane.
Compensation
Actual base pay may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, education, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations. In addition to base pay, the compensation package may include participation in performance-based incentive programs (e.g., discretionary or non-discretionary plans), as well as overtime eligibility depending on the role.
