About the role
We’re hiring a Rental Sales Representative to grow our equipment rental business across the general construction market. This is a field-based sales role where you’ll build relationships with contractors, solve jobsite problems, and drive revenue through smart, customer-first solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with construction contractors, jobsite foremen, and project managers to grow rental business.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities for equipment rentals in the general construction sector.
- Create tailored rental proposals based on jobsite needs and equipment requirements.
- Work closely with the Rental and Service departments to ensure equipment availability and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular jobsite visits to maintain visibility and strengthen customer relationships.
- Stay informed on construction project timelines and upcoming opportunities in the region.
- Attend sales training and industry events to sharpen product knowledge and sales strategies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in rental equipment or construction-related industries.
- Strong knowledge of construction equipment such as telehandlers, scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and related tools.
- Comfortable working in and around active construction sites.
- Highly motivated and organized, with a track record of hitting sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
