About the role

This program is fast-paced and touches every aspect of the business unit. As a Rental Sales Management Trainee, you will acquire proven industry knowledge, skills, and resources to develop your relationship-building abilities. We allow you to carve out your own career path and promote from within based on performance. Though this program is designed to be completed in 18-24 months, there is opportunity to complete it in as little as 12 months.

The incumbent will be assigned to operational and administrative tasks in support of location and regional management. Structured work weeks, rotational Saturdays (depending on branch location/hours), and competitive pay plus overtime are provided. Responsibilities

  • Handle the sales and process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation
  • Maintain current and accurate data within the company's marketing database
  • Generate rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads
  • Manage all rental asset processes, including vehicle preventive maintenance and cleanliness standards
  • Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing sales and marketing initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies
  • Reconcile all customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain and grow the customer base
  • Perform the role of On-Call Representative based on work schedules as determined by Supervisor (voluntary or as required)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (business administration or similar related degree preferred)
  • One (1) year or more of customer service experience with issues resolution preferred
  • Must be computer literate at an intermediate level
  • Ability to relocate in the region/U.S. at the conclusion of the training program

Pay

Salaried position with a pay range of $55,000 annually. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on level and/or type.
