Rental Fleet Dispatcher - PT

This role is a great fit for candidates with experience in logistics, dispatching, retail operations, or other fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

As a Rental Fleet Dispatcher, you will coordinate the movement and availability of our rental vehicle fleet to meet customer demand. Depending on the location, your responsibilities may include:

• Inventorying vehicles
• Tracking the status and movement of cars
• Dispatching vehicles to the appropriate locations
• Communicating with internal teams and external partners to coordinate vehicle movements or transports
• Preparing and compiling reports
• Ensuring vehicles are available, positioned correctly, and ready for customers

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, Word)
• Willingness to work outdoors or near a mechanical shop with a moderate noise level
• Flexibility to work all shifts
• Ability to type, sit, stand, walk, or move throughout the rental lot; enter and exit vehicles for prolonged periods; and drive a variety of vehicles
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Regular, on-site presence is required; this position cannot be performed remotely

Qualifications

6 months of dispatcher, logistics, or coordination experience in a fast-paced environment is a bonus.
