Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive inbound requests from the Freight Coordinator
- Handle documentation relating to equipment transport
- Load and unload equipment onto transport truck and trailer and transport equipment to and from various locations
- Instruct customer equipment operators on basic operation
- Relay relevant customer feedback onto sales and operational contacts
- Complete rental check-ins and check-outs
- Fuel and park rental equipment
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and communicate with the Vehicle Fleet Coordinator regarding maintenance
- Ensure that all registrations, insurance, and CIV’s are up to date
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Completion of high school diploma
- Valid Class A CDL driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Minimum 5 years of driving experience
- Prior experience operating heavy machinery and/or related industry knowledge is an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities in parallel
- Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
