Rental Delivery Driver

Job Description

The Rental Delivery Driver will report to the Atlanta branch daily to prepare and load trucks for pickup and deliver at customer locations.

Skills/Responsibilities

• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to safely lift, load and secure forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Knowledge of geographical area and ability to navigate.
• Strong customer relation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Highly motivated and energetic.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. (and occasionally in excess of 100 lbs.).

Work Experience Requirements

3 years’ experience required.

Educational/Certification/License Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• Required License: Class A Commercial Driver’s License

Work Conditions/Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the majority of the work day is spent driving.
• This position is required to drive and safely operate the vehicle to make deliveries from their home branch to customer locations.
• Must be in good physical condition to bend, stretch and secure loads.
• This includes loading and unloading forklifts.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally in excess of 100 pounds.
• Must be able to legally and properly operate a motor vehicle with a “Class A” license.
