Rent A Center- Store Manager in Training

About the role

We are the largest Rent A Center franchise with a family feel and room for growth. This is a position focused on advancement and training for future management positions. We are hiring immediately and are looking for individuals who can contribute to our company's success.

Essential Job Functions

• Drive store performance to meet and exceed established sales standards
• Recruit, develop and retain an effective store team
• Maintain and ensure total customer satisfaction
• Create, manage, and execute plans to increase sales and profits
• Manage and execute plans to achieve store account management standards
• Manage store performance by budgeting and analyzing various reports
• Manage store inventory by ordering, receiving, and transferring products to ensure revenue and profit growth
• Organize daily activities including scheduling coworkers to meet the needs of the store
• Manage and secure the assets of the store
• Absorb and assist with customer deliveries and merchandise set-up when needed

Requirements

• Candidates must have two years of assistant management experience (preferred)
• Profit and Loss experience (not required)
• Heavy lifting required
• Candidates must be computer proficient in a Windows operating system
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
• Candidates must have a valid High-School Diploma or Equivalent
• Candidates must possess a valid state Driver's License
• Candidates must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Candidates must be legally permitted to work in the US
• Candidates must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle records check
