Renewables Project Engineer
About the role
The Boldt Company is seeking a Renewables Project Engineer for their National Power & Industrial (NPI) team. This role involves working on renewable energy projects across the U.S., collaborating with project managers, superintendents, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work moves smoothly and stays aligned.
- Work closely with project leaders and field teams from planning through execution.
- Coordinate drawings, RFIs, submittals, schedules, and cost information with clarity and responsiveness.
- Stay actively involved in site walks, inspections, and daily construction activities to understand sequencing, quality, and safety expectations.
- Support projects from early execution through successful delivery on job sites across the country.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Clear, respectful communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
- Willingness to travel 100% to project sites.
- A genuine interest in building strong working relationships with field teams, subcontractors, and project partners.
- Ability to listen, learn, and contribute in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
- Comfort asking questions, sharing ideas, and working through challenges together.
Qualifications
- Nice to have: Exposure to construction or engineering software.
- 1+ years' experience in renewable energy construction.

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position is $67,000 - $85,000 annually. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Schedule
The position requires regular travel to project sites.
