Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Controls Engineer

On-siteEngineering$145k–$160k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The job description starts with "Job Description The Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Controls Engineer is responsible for designing..." That's like a summary. We can put that in a

maybe under an

About the role? The instruction: use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it). So we can have sections: About the role (summary), Responsibilities, Requirements (maybe combine Qualifications?), Benefits, Pay (salary range), maybe Schedule? Not present. We need to include a section only when posting has real specific content. Pay: we have "$145,000 - $160,000 annually (dependent on experience)" under Benefits? Actually appears after "Maintenance & Reliability Develop preventative maintenance plans..." then line: "Coordinate with OEM $145,000 - $160,000 annually (dependent on experience)". That seems like salary info. So we need a Pay section with that content. Benefits: we have a Benefits section after that: "Benefits Why join the Suburban Propane team? ..." So we need Benefits section. Qualifications: we have "Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree..." plus Preferred etc. So we need Qualifications section. Responsibilities: we have many bullet-like paragraphs under headings: Controls & Automation Design..., Instrumentation & Electrical Systems..., Process Optimization..., Compliance & Safety..., Maintenance & Reliability... We can treat each as sub-sections? But we only need to output
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. The responsibilities are prose but could be turned into list items. The instruction: Use
    • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. So we need to decide: Are responsibilities a list? They are multiple items; we can make a

        with each duty as
      • . That seems appropriate. Similarly, Qualifications: list of required and preferred; we can make
. Benefits: list of benefits; we can make
. Pay: just a sentence; we can put

. About the role: a brief summary paragraph; we can put

. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, application instructions, etc. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So we need to cut out the long corporate description about Suburban Propane, the EEO statement, the application instructions, etc. Keep only substantive info: role summary, responsibilities, qualifications, benefits, pay. Also maybe we keep the "Coordinate with OEM $145,000 - $160,000 annually (dependent on experience)" line; but that line appears within Maintenance & Reliability paragraph; we need to extract salary. We must preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep all details from responsibilities, qualifications, benefits, pay. However we can condense into list items but must not lose detail. That's okay as long as we keep the substance. We need to avoid repeating job title as heading. So no

for the title. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. Let's craft:

            Pay

            $145,000 - $160,000 annually (dependent on experience)

Check for any leftover boilerplate: We removed the corporate description, EEO, application instructions, etc. Also removed the line "Coordinate with OEM $145,000 - $160,000 annually (dependent on experience)" from responsibilities; we moved salary to Pay section. Ensure we didn't lose any other substantive info: The responsibilities list includes all items from the original sections: Controls & Automation Design..., Instrumentation & Electrical Systems..., Process Optimization..., Compliance & Safety..., Maintenance & Reliability... We captured each bullet. Did we miss any? Let's verify original responsibilities sections: - Controls & Automation Design, program, and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for RNG plant operations. - Develop and optimize control strategies for feedstock receiving systems, gas upgrading systems, compression systems, flare systems, digesters, and utility systems. - Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols including Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and OPC. - Develop and maintain controls standards, preferred hardware configurations, programming practices, network architecture, and documentation templates that can be applied consistently across multiple RNG facilities while still allowing site-specific adaptation. - Support design, procurement, installation, commissioning and startup of new equipment and plant expansions. - Implement alarm management and process interlocks to improve plant safety and reliability. - Review control system deliverables from OEMs, system integrators, and engineering contractors, including control narratives, cause-and-effect logic, loop diagrams, I/O lists, network drawings, panel drawings, factory acceptance test procedures, and commissioning documentation. - Instrumentation & Electrical Systems: Specify, install, calibrate, and maintain process instrumentation including pressure,
