About the role
We are seeking a Renewable Energy Tax Credit Associate with four to six years of experience. The candidate will advise developers, draft and negotiate tax credit transfer agreements, and handle financings and M&A in the renewable energy sector. This role is open in any of our offices, including our virtual office, The Link.
Responsibilities
- Advise developers on renewable energy tax credits and real estate incentives
- Draft and negotiate tax credit transfer agreements
- Handle financings and M&A transactions in the renewable energy sector
Requirements
- Active bar license in the state corresponding to the office of application (or commitment to obtain one promptly)
- Four to six years of experience in renewable energy tax credits and related real estate incentives
- Exceptional judgment and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
- Excellent academic credentials and superior interpersonal skills
- Proactive, dynamic, and entrepreneurial mindset

Pay
Compensation ranges by location:
- Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Washington: $230,000–$260,000
- California, New York, Washington, D.C.: $240,000–$265,000
- Minnesota, Vermont: $215,000–$246,000
- All other markets: varies based on market data
Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
