Renewable Energy Real Estate Associate

About the role

The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Energy & Natural Resources Strategic Business Unit.

Responsibilities

- Experience with wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions, through both development and financing. - Work closely with attorneys to handle complex legal matters. - Provide strategic advice and support to clients. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulations.

Requirements

- Five to seven years of experience preferred. - Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying or commitment to obtaining one as soon as possible. - Excellent academic credentials. - Commitment to the community. - Superior interpersonal skills. - Demonstrated record of working well under pressure. - Exceptional judgment. - Ability to effectively handle multiple projects. - Ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.

- Proactive, dynamic, and entrepreneurial individual. - Varying backgrounds, interests, and experience.

Skills

- Strong legal research and writing skills. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Proficiency in relevant software and tools.

Pay

Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C. is $220,000 to $280,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
