Renewable Energy Field Specialist
About the role
Puget Sound Energy is seeking a Renewable Energy Field Specialist to join our Generation & Natural Gas Storage team. This position is based at one of our renewable energy sites in Stillwater County, Montana.
Responsibilities
- Active fieldwork and work planning
- Scheduling and ensuring reliable operation and maintenance of site assets
- Supporting compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Communicating with internal and external customers, including resolving customer concerns
- Performing solar module inspections and wind turbine inspections
- Climbing wind turbines up to 300 feet in extreme weather conditions
- Supporting emergency response and outage response
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in engineering, business, science or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- At least two years of relevant work experience
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Basic knowledge of cost estimating and scheduling concepts
- Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, Outlook or equivalent software
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical equipment and systems
- Valid driver’s license and working at heights qualification
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management or related discipline
- Experience managing projects and programs
- Project management training
- Understanding of underground and overhead electrical – communication equipment systems
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
- Advanced Project Management Training and Certification

Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80,200.00 - $115,800.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals-based incentive bonuses.
