Renal Specialist I - Hemodialysis - PRN - 1st Shift
About the role
The Renal Specialist Level I identifies the needs and priorities of the dialysis and apheresis patient through assessment. They plan and delegate care based on patient needs and evaluate the patient's response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess patient needs and priorities
- Plan and delegate care based on patient needs
- Evaluate patient response to care and progress towards outcomes
- Give supporting documentation for Renal Specialist II to the Dialysis Unit Charge Nurse
- Call is required
Requirements
Education required: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
License, Certification and /or Registration: Current Alabama or multistate Nursing license required
Experience: ICU and/or previous Dialysis experience preferred
