Dialysis Attendant - Hemodialysis - FT - 1st Shift

About the role

The dialysis attendant provides patient transport to and from the dialysis department via wheelchair or bed. The dialysis attendant works under the direction of the RN.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care
• Maintains patient care standards
• Demonstrates ability to work with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds
• Organizes, sets, and manages multiple priorities
• Adapts to a rapidly changing environment

Requirements

• Education: HS/GED required
• Completed a certified nursing assistant training program or Huntsville Hospital's Patient Care Aide course
• Dialysis attendant experience desired

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate the ability to work with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds
• Organize, set and manage multiple priorities
• Adapt to a rapidly changing environment
