Removal Defense Attorney
Bravo-Bonetti Legal, PLLC is looking for a Removal Defense Attorney to join our team on a full-time, in-person basis in Austin / Cedar Park, Texas.
About the role
The role involves managing an active caseload of USCIS and removal defense matters, including asylum claims and related relief. The attorney will appear before the Immigration Court both in-person and via WebEx, and will be responsible for drafting and filing motions, briefs, applications, and supporting documentation. Our clients are predominantly Spanish-speaking, so clear and effective communication in Spanish is an important part of the day-to-day work. In addition to handling their own cases, the attorney will help mentor and support our paralegal staff, contributing to a team environment where everyone is working toward the same goal.
Responsibilities
- Manage an active caseload of USCIS and removal defense matters, including asylum claims and related relief
- Appear before the Immigration Court both in-person and via WebEx
- Draft and file motions, briefs, applications, and supporting documentation
- Communicate effectively with predominantly Spanish-speaking clients
- Mentor and support paralegal staff
Requirements
- Active bar membership in good standing
- Experience in immigration law, removal defense, or asylum practice
- Ability to manage an active caseload independently and meet deadlines
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Comfortable appearing in Immigration Court both in-person and via WebEx
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (very strongly preferred)
- Experience supervising or mentoring support staff

Pay
Starting salary of $100,000, based on experience.
