Remote Volunteer WordPress Website Administrator & Designer — Nonprofit Education
About the role
Help Believe in Me maintain accessible, reliable, and engaging WordPress websites that connect young people, families, donors, volunteers, educators, and community partners with programs and opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain WordPress pages, navigation, forms, reusable sections, integrations, and mobile layouts.
- Publish and update approved program, scholarship, volunteer, fundraising, and community-partnership content.
- Improve accessibility, page speed, metadata, headings, internal links, image treatment, and search discoverability.
- Troubleshoot layout, domain, analytics, form-delivery, and integration issues.
- Create simple documentation so future staff and volunteers can maintain the site.
- Collaborate with content, design, marketing, analytics, security, and program volunteers.
- Protect privacy, brand consistency, and accurate representation of youth programs.
Requirements
- WordPress or WordPress administration, responsive web design, content management, UX, accessibility, SEO, analytics, forms, and domain configuration.
- Strong attention to detail and dependable remote communication.
Skills
- HTML/CSS or integration experience is helpful but not required.
