Remote Telecom Project Manager

About the role

This role supports multiple project teams in the network design and construction of Crown Castle’s small cell network in Colorado and Utah. Tasks include managing power-system audits, tracking project progression, providing leadership updates, managing materials, and coordinating between teams and vendors to deliver small-cell sites in the Right of Way.

Responsibilities

• Understand organizational goals, scopes of work, and project timelines/budgets.
• Interface with vendors and attend/lead deployment meetings to drive project progress.
• Review vendor data and ensure Crown Castle systems are maintained with accurate, reportable data.
• Plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
• Resolve conflicts and drive issue resolution with all stakeholders.
• Manage risk, actions, issues, dependencies, scope creep, and work-order changes according to contractual practices.
• Escalate issues through internal lines of business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of three years of project management experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including working with large datasets.

• Understanding of small cell construction (RF, fiber, power, or distributed power).
• Ability to interface effectively with all organizational levels, including senior leaders.
• Strong cross-functional relationship-building skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of public right-of-way project deployment.
