Remote Project Coordinator (Telecom)

About the role

TEKsystems is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support a fast-paced team driving telecom and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities

• Career path: Remote support, daytime business hours in Alaska Time Zone, Monday through Friday
• Career path: Coordinate project activities including materials, inventory, and workflow tracking
• Career path: Maintain and update project documentation (schedules, drawings, permits, charters, etc.)
• Career path: Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and operational issues
• Career path: Partner with engineering, site acquisition teams, contractors, and vendors to meet timelines
• Career path: Track circuit orders, purchase orders, and materials delivery
• Career path: Ensure regulatory and company compliance across project documentation
• Career path: Audit and validate site and project data
• Career path: Support administrative tasks such as meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and documentation

Requirements

• Career path: 3+ years of experience in project coordination, construction, telecom, inventory/warehouse, or related field
• Career path: At least 1 year working in a professional office environment
• Career path: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
• Career path: Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking skills
• Career path: Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Career path: Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability
• Career path: Self-motivated with a drive to learn and grow
• Career path: High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Career path: Associate’s degree in Business or related field preferred
• Career path: Nice to have: Telecom Industry certifications, experience with project tracking systems and data validation, experience supporting telecom or infrastructure projects

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
