Remote Tax Preparer/Accountant

About the role

We Are Seeking An Experienced Tax And Accounting Professional To Manage Multiple Client Accounts, Ensuring Accurate Financial Records, Preparing Tax Returns, And Providing Client Support.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing transactions
• Preparing financial statements
• Addressing client inquiries
• Providing client support

Requirements

• Strong organization skills to handle 10-15 clients effectively
• Efficiency in completing tasks on time and problem-solving
• Tech-savviness with continuous process improvement
• Excellent client interaction skills to build trusted relationships

Qualifications

• Accounting or related degree with min. 3 years experience
• Experience preparing various tax returns (1120, 1065, 1040, etc.)
• Proficiency in MS Office, Advanced Excel, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Drake
• Previous outsourced/multi-client accounting experience
• Enrolled Agent, CPA, or candidate is a plus
