About the role
The Sr. Foreclosure Specialist will monitor vendor activities, collaborate with support groups, assist with training, and manage foreclosure processes.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and reviews foreclosure tracking templates daily.
- Communicates with team, default support groups, clients, and investors during foreclosure proceedings.
- Manages outstanding or upcoming events/tasks, ensuring timely completion and accuracy of dates.
- Utilizes tools to manage pipeline, system of record, vendor tracking software, and control reporting.
- Ensures attorney fees/costs and foreclosure costs are within allowable schedules.
- Maintains system of record and vendor tracking software for proper notification/reporting.
- Imaging and maintaining foreclosure procedural documents.
- Identifies and analyzes exception cases and develops action plans.
- Notifies managers and investors/insurers as required.
- Remediates and resolves complex/escalated matters.
- Verifies taxes and insurance are maintained and paid timely.
- Documents servicing activities and follows up on phone conversations.
- Maintains vendor performance and notifies relevant parties of issues.
- Transfers files for conveyance/claim filing and REO within 24 hours.
- Follows up on sale proceeds and completes sale dispositions.
- Compiles and maintains accurate IRS 1099A/1099C filings.
- Processes funds within SLAs and ensures timely and accurate instructions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience; some college preferred.
- Three (3) years of Foreclosure experience or a combination of three (3) years’ banking, mortgage, foreclosure experience.
- Notary Public or prior Paralegal experience preferred.
- Self-motivated and able to work with little to no supervision.
- Able to understand and integrate different viewpoints on complex issues.
- Able to make significant decisions impacting immediate work unit.
- Able to organize and prioritize work on short-term basis.
- Able to perform basic math operations and record results accurately.
- Able to write and speak clearly and effectively.
- Able to handle multiple tasks under pressure and changing priorities.
- Able to evaluate loans and understand foreclosure processes.
Qualifications
- Understanding of the foreclosure process and differences between Judicial and Non-Judicial proceedings.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and quality of loan evaluation.

Pay
$24.00-$27.00 an hour.
Schedule
Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M or 7:30 A.M to 4:00 P.M PST.
