Key Responsibilities
- Leading the rebuild of a WordPress-based website, focusing on performance, scalability, and conversion.
- Owning and maintaining the website, including creating landing, location, and service pages using a reusable component library.
- Ensuring optimal page speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile-first accessibility compliance.
- Managing platform security, caching, and configuration on Cloudflare and WP Engine.
- Implementing schema markup, structured data, and handling full site migrations without loss of SEO or tracking.
- Sets up and troubleshoots analytics, GTM, GA4, and attribution across multiple ad channels.
- Collaborates closely with SEO strategists and senior leadership, with direct communication channels.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on web development experience, with deep WordPress and Elementor Pro proficiency.
- Strong PHP skills for custom functions and theme modifications.
- Experience configuring Cloudflare and WP Engine environments.
- Expertise in analytics, attribution, and schema implementation.
- Track record of leading site migrations and optimizing for speed and SEO, especially for local businesses.
- Excellent written English and ability to work during Pacific Time Zone hours.
