Remote Senior Software Engineer (Containers)

Key Responsibilities

• Leading or contributing to medium-to-large feature releases and cross-team projects
• Providing technical expertise and impactful contributions
• Participating in design reviews and mentoring engineers
• Managing project timelines, risks, and team dynamics
• Building stakeholder relationships and contributing to strategic planning
• Sharing knowledge and supporting team growth
• Engaging in hiring, code reviews, and maintaining performance milestones
• Possibly taking on product or leadership roles like Product Lead or Scrum Master

Qualifications & Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in containerized, scalable architectures
• Expertise in container deployment, Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible), Shell scripting, and object-oriented design
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Typescript, and tools like Git and IntelliJ
• Knowledge of agile practices and computer science fundamentals
• Strong communication skills and creative problem-solving abilities
• Preferred: experience with security, SaaS products, cloud certifications (AWS/Azure)

Compensation

$170,000 - $190,000 per year, based on experience and skills.
