Remote Senior MIP Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of algorithms for LP, QP, MILP, MIQP, and other problem types.
• Collaborate with a skilled team of developers and provide internal support.
• Create test cases and documentation for new features.
• Present product capabilities at technical conferences and engage with users.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field, or master's with relevant experience.
• 5+ years developing high-performance mathematical solvers, proficient in C/C++.
• Experience with algorithms like simplex, interior point, and MIP components.
• Strong understanding of mathematical algorithms, solver performance, and robustness.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.

Skills & Abilities

• Expertise in complex algorithm implementation and extension.
• Ability to evaluate solver performance and numerical stability.
• Comfort working remotely and collaborating across international teams.
• Flexible, willing to travel, and participate in global meetings.
• Proficient in programming (C, macOS, Microsoft 365) with knowledge of other languages like Python or Java a plus.
