Remote Senior Marketing Manager (Healthcare)
Our client is seeking a highly strategic, hands-on Senior Marketing Manager to lead integrated marketing initiatives that drive patient acquisition, service line growth, and brand awareness across a diverse healthcare portfolio. This individual will play a critical role in developing and executing marketing strategies for new programs, specialty care offerings, and high-priority growth initiatives. Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies supporting new service lines, physician recruitment initiatives, specialty care programs, and growth priorities.
- Lead go-to-market planning for new healthcare services, programs, and centers of excellence.
- Translate business objectives into integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, patient acquisition, appointments, and revenue growth.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen brand positioning and differentiate services in a highly competitive healthcare market.
Integrated Campaign Management
- Lead end-to-end campaign development across digital, web, search, social, events, branding, and internal communications channels.
- Oversee launch planning and execution for key strategic initiatives, including high-profile service line expansions.
- Establish campaign objectives, success metrics, timelines, stakeholder alignment, and resource plans.
Agency & Vendor Leadership
- Manage external agencies and specialty vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality marketing programs.
- Provide strategic direction for creative development, messaging, content, media, digital campaigns, and brand execution.
- Evaluate agency performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with physicians, operational leaders, service line stakeholders, digital teams, and communications partners.
- Serve as a trusted marketing advisor across multiple business units.
- Lead meetings, align stakeholders, and drive projects forward despite competing priorities and changing business needs.
Brand & Creative Direction
- Develop creative briefs and campaign visions that clearly articulate goals and desired outcomes.
- Provide direction to designers, content creators, social media teams, and agency partners.
- Ensure all marketing activities are aligned with brand standards and business objectives.
Project Management
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives with varying levels of complexity and urgency.
- Anticipate resource needs and coordinate internal and external support when necessary.
- Operate effectively as both strategist and executor, stepping in wherever needed to ensure successful delivery.
Current Priority Initiative
The first major focus area will be supporting the organization's Women's Health expansion, including:
- Integrated marketing strategy development
- Brand positioning and messaging
- New program and service launches
- Digital marketing initiatives
- Website strategy and development
- Internal communications
- Campaign execution across multiple channels
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive marketing experience with at least 3 years in healthcare or physician marketing.
- Healthcare marketing experience in provider, payer, health system, or related healthcare organizations.
- Agency experience or experience working extensively with agency partners.
- Experience supporting service line marketing, specialty care growth, patient acquisition, or consumer healthcare marketing.
- Familiarity with physician marketing, healthcare consumer behavior, and healthcare market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in brand strategy development and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements related to marketing and patient communications.
- Familiarity with the Houston healthcare market and established relationships with local providers or networks is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage budgets, set priorities, and deliver measurable results in a fast-paced agency or in-house environment.
