REMOTE Senior Estate Planning Attorney

About the role
Fully remote position for a California-licensed attorney who will advise high net worth clients on estate and gift tax planning strategies.
Responsibilities
- Draft wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and powers of attorney
- Handle trust and probate administration matters
- Structure GRATs, QTIPs, marital trusts, and other advanced planning vehicles
- Support business succession planning for family-owned businesses and entrepreneurs
- Collaborate directly with wealth advisors and CPAs on integrated planning matters
Requirements
- California Bar admission — must be CA-based
- Recent trusts and estates experience with advanced estate, gift, and tax planning techniques
- Experience with any combination of the following:
- High Net Worth Estate Planning
- Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts
- GRATs, QTIPs, Marital Trusts
- Estate and Gift Tax Planning
- Business Succession Planning
- Powers of Attorney / Advance Directives
Pay
Base salary: $150,000 – $225,000 per year (DOE) plus structured performance-based bonuses, bringing total compensation up to $300,000. Bonuses are paid quarterly based on billable hours, originations, and collections.
