Remote Senior Data Engineer, Infrastructure & Compliance

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to develop and maintain secure, scalable data pipelines, processing clinical and operational health data using SQL and Python.

Responsibilities

• Designing ETL/ELT processes
• Evolving data models
• Automating data governance
• Supporting production incident resolution involving PHI/PII data

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud or AWS)
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code

Qualifications

• Strong integrity
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance
• Familiarity with large-scale health data systems

Skills

• Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture
• Experience with healthcare regulations like HIPAA and HITRUST
