(Remote) Project Manager - Professional Services

About the role

NorthStar, a division of Harris, is seeking an energetic and driven Project Manager with experience leading software implementations. In this role you will participate in project planning and scheduling and lead consultants in the implementation of Utility Billing and Client Information Software (CIS) solutions for new and existing clients. The position is within the NorthStar business unit and reports to the Director of Professional Services. This is a remote role open to candidates anywhere in Canada and the US in the EST timezone, with approximately 5% travel as needed. Candidates must hold a current, valid passport and be legally eligible to travel internationally, including passport‑based visa exemption or any required visas for entry into Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean. The successful candidate will demonstrate an AI & Innovation mindset: curiosity and willingness to adopt AI tools (copilots, chat‑based assistants, automation) to improve workflows while maintaining judgment, security, and compliance. Responsibilities

• Lead multi‑functional project teams toward completing work deliverables for implementation of mission critical software packages
• Review statement of work and create an effective project plan to deliver on the specified solution
• Provide updates and manage client expectations, ensuring delivery of the highest quality software solution and customer service
• Manage project financials
• Proactively resolve project issues to mitigate delays and reduce impact on the client and project timelines
• Conduct post‑implementation reviews to identify areas of improvement and apply learning
