Remote Power Distribution Operator

What You'll Do

• Oversee and coordinate electrical distribution activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, safety standards, and company procedures
• Support troubleshooting, system monitoring, and maintenance planning to ensure power systems operate reliably and safely
• Facilitate collaboration across teams, review technical specifications, and support operational excellence aligned with safety and quality standards

Required Skills

• Solid understanding of electrical distribution systems and control infrastructure
• Familiarity with regulations relevant to power and energy operations
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in work permit systems and safety protocols
• Attention to detail and quality assurance in maintenance planning and execution
• Ability to work safely and independently in a high-pressure environment

Nice To Have Skills

• Experience with energy industry-specific software and tools
• Background in oil and gas facility operations or similar fields
• Knowledge of Control and Instrumentation systems
• Experience with Management of Change (MOC) processes

Preferred Education And Experience

• High school diploma or technical certification; additional technical training is a plus
• Prior experience in electrical distribution or power systems, preferably in an industrial site
• Relevant safety and technical certifications are advantageous

Schedule

• Availability to work on a 7/7 rotation schedule, followed by a 14/14 rotation
