Remote Pharmacist – Part-Time (Evenings & Weekends)

Responsibilities

• Verify prescription accuracy before dispensing
• Perform drug utilization reviews to ensure safety, efficacy, and appropriateness
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify medication orders and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Monitor medication interactions and take corrective actions as necessary
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency
• Provide support as needed, including answering medication-related inquiries

Requirements

• Must hold a bachelor’s degree or doctorate in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Must be in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy
• KY license is preferred but not required
• Must have active immunization and CPR certifications (preferred)
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays (rotations)
• Must be willing to obtain additional licenses and certifications when requested
• Must possess strong communication and leadership skills
• Must be passionate about helping patients and improving healthcare

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid pharmacy license in the state where you will be working
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings

• Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Benefits
