Part-Time Pharmacist

About the role

The Pharmacists at WholesomeCo are responsible for overseeing the verification of pharmacy transactions, managing patient consultations, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the verification of pharmacy transactions for accuracy and compliance with all state and federal regulations and company policies
• Oversee consultations with patients and prospective patients
• Assist and occasionally lead our patient drives at our facility
• Verify pharmacy transactions
• Consult patients and prospective patients
• Maintain store operational standards
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and employees
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Oversee the assistance of patients with their questions, problems, and complaints
• Handle all patient-related issues in accordance with company policy
• Monitor and ensure a high-quality patient experience for every interaction
• Direct and oversee patient interactions and provide clinical counseling
• Cook up with practitioners to facilitate positive patient outcomes
• Other job duties as requested

Qualifications

• Experience within the cannabis industry is preferred
• Knowledge of the cannabis plant and its benefits is highly preferred
• 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience as a pharmacist
• Certified Registered Utah State Pharmacist
• Experience working in a heavily regulated industry is necessary
• Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations
• Able to remain compliant with all applicable laws as well as company SOPs and guidelines
• Able to communicate effectively via, email, phone calls, text, or any other methods frequently used within the company
• Basic computer skills (i.e. email, excel)
• Able to interact and work with the public
• Able to stand or sit for 8-12 hours

Cannabis Knowledge

WholesomeCo will provide access to medical cannabis educational tools. The successful candidate will develop a deep understanding of cannabis forms, dosing, drug interactions, side effects, and understand the efficacy of variance strains, potencies, and methods of delivery.
