Remote Part-Time IP Paralegal Opportunity

Position Overview

The paralegal will provide substantive support across a range of legal matters involving intellectual property, corporate governance, and related transactional work. This person should be comfortable operating independently in a remote setting, managing deadlines, and shifting between administrative, procedural, and document-based assignments.

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize, and file documents in connection with intellectual property disputes and related court matters
• Aid with trademark and copyright support, including filings, maintenance, and enforcement-related tasks
• Draft and revise cease and desist letters and other brand enforcement correspondence
• Assist with intellectual property calendaring and docket management
• Conduct legal and factual research in support of attorney workflow and client matters
• Prepare formation documents for new business entities and assist with ongoing entity maintenance
• Support corporate governance and recordkeeping processes
• Draft, edit, and format agreements and other legal documents using established templates
• Provide general paralegal support across a busy and evolving practice

Preferred Background

• Prior experience in a law firm or legal services environment supporting trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property matters, along with exposure to corporate entity and governance work
• Familiarity with litigation support related to intellectual property matters
• Background handling business entity formations and maintenance
• Experience with board, governance, or other corporate recordkeeping support
• Comfort drafting and revising template-based contracts and correspondence
• Strong research, organization, and deadline management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, entrepreneurial environment
