Remote Operations Center Operator

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintaining, monitoring, and controlling the daily operations of compressor stations associated with the Kinetik Gathering System
• Adjusting sales volumes via third party controller and remote starting/stopping of compression throughout the system
• Operating amine and glycol systems, including startup and shutdown as necessary
• Coordinating NGL deliveries and managing third party sales
• Completing detailed reporting and record keeping of daily activities and events
• Answering calls and reporting events on the Pipeline Emergency System
• Controlling access to facilities remotely and utilizing cameras for monitoring flaring and work practices
• Maintaining personnel location using Geotab for incident response and reliability coordination

Education And/or Work Experience Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• One year of natural gas processing experience preferred
• Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good communication skills both written and oral
• Ability to assume responsibility, be flexible, perform duties, and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful conditions
• Initiative and proactivity in addressing issues
• Quickly and efficiently completing tasks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to attend in-person office and field meetings as needed
• Occasional driving to travel to Kinetik plants and worksites as needed
• Flexibility to work in an office environment with long periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Availability outside of normal working hours as needed for business necessity

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
• Ability to work effectively in all working conditions noted above
• Requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 15 lbs. on a consistent basis
