Remote Medical Director

Provide clinical governance for a physician-prescribed creative engagement platform serving older adults with chronic pain and behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities

• Approve and maintain clinical protocols, standing orders, and care-plan templates
• Provide general supervision of Nurse Practitioners and clinical staff
• Conduct periodic chart audits and quality reviews
• Review NP escalations and provide clinical guidance
• Oversee regulatory compliance and HIPAA posture
• Serve as physician of record for the professional corporation

How the model works

You oversee. NPs treat. The platform monitors. Daily PROMs are collected automatically and patient outreach is handled by the CoachFlow Companion team — your touchpoints are clinical protocol approval, escalation review, and population-level trend review.

Requirements

• Active MD or DO license; board certified in primary care, internal medicine, PM&R, pain medicine, or psychiatry preferred
• Active malpractice coverage
• Comfort with telehealth-only practice and asynchronous oversight workflows
• Familiarity with care-management billing helpful, not required

What we handle

CMS-855B enrollment, MSO-PC formation, NP credentialing, banking setup, billing operations, and platform engineering. Your scope is clinical approval and oversight — administrative work is on us.
