About the role

Turn your part of America into live content. Participate in a remote internship that allows you to explore your local surroundings and broadcast real life as it happens.

Responsibilities

• Livestream from various locations across the United States, showcasing local neighborhoods, markets, food spots, cultural spaces, events, and landscapes.
• Engage with your audience through live chat moderated by City Explorer staff.
• No previous livestreaming experience or existing audience is required.
• No relocation is necessary.
• You do not need to show your face.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled university student.
• Required to complete the internship as part of your degree.
• University must formally approve the internship placement.
• Must provide relevant university documentation before beginning.
• Not open to graduates or applicants seeking an independent internship.

Qualifications

• Based in the United States.
• Own a smartphone with a good camera.
• Reliable mobile data.
• Good knowledge of your local area.
• Conversational English.
• Able to maintain a consistent weekly schedule.

This is an unpaid internship.

Schedule

Internships are remotely coordinated from anywhere in the United States, with a commitment of at least six months and a minimum of 10 livestreaming hours per week.
