About the role

Turn your part of America into live content. Participate in a remote internship that allows you to explore your local surroundings and broadcast real life as it happens. Viewers can follow you, interact with your streams and support you through tips.

Responsibilities

• Show viewers local neighborhoods, markets, food spots, cultural spaces, events, landscapes and places visitors do not normally discover.
• Talk to your audience or let your surroundings speak for themselves while our moderators manage the live chat.
• No previous livestreaming experience needed.
• No existing audience needed.
• No relocation needed.
• No need to show your face.

Requirements

• To be based in the United States.
• A smartphone with a good camera.
• Reliable mobile data.
• Good knowledge of your local area.
• Conversational English.
• The ability to follow a consistent weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled university student.
• Required to complete an internship as part of their degree.
• University approval of the internship placement is necessary.

Pay

This is an unpaid internship. City Explorer provides the equipment, training, coaching, promotion, and platform.

Schedule

Interns are remotely coordinated from anywhere in the United States. Minimum commitment: six months, 10 livestreaming hours per week.
