Temp-Hire Fully Remote Litigation Assistant (Secretary) (California-Based) Location: Remote (Must Reside in California)Employment Type: Full-Time - Temp-hireOur client is a growing plaintiff-side litigation team seeking an experienced Litigation Assistant to provide administrative and litigation support in a fully remote environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced with California state and federal court procedures. Key Responsibilities: Submit receipts and expenses to accountingSchedule depositions, including coordinating court reporters, conference rooms, and equipmentConvert documents between PDF and Word formatsCoordinate appointments with medical providers and expert witnessesPrepare and submit e-filings in California state and federal courtsArrange service of process and service of legal documentsDraft client correspondence, including signature requests, verification letters, and HIPAA-related documentationBates stamp documents and prepare exhibit binders/pagesCommunicate with courts regarding hearing dates and scheduling mattersProvide general litigation and administrative support to attorneys Required Qualifications: Experience with Los Angeles County courts, California state courts, and federal courts is requiredPrior litigation assistant or legal assistant experienceStrong knowledge of e-filing proceduresExcellent organizational, communication, and time-management skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and PDF editing softwareAbility to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple deadlines Preferred Experience supporting plaintiff-side litigation mattersFamiliarity with case management and document management systemsIf you're a proactive litigation professional who thrives in a fast-paced remote environment, we'd love to hear from you!
