Key Responsibilities
- Perform work related to California-based labor & employment litigation matters.
- Handle pre-litigation evaluations, pleadings, discovery, motions, hearings and other case workup tasks.
- Manage assignments efficiently, communicate proactively, and deliver high-quality legal work within established deadlines.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of labor and employment litigation experience
- Active license to practice law in California and good standing with the California State Bar
- Strong legal research, analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while also collaborating effectively with attorneys, clients, and legal support teams
- Excellent academic credentials and outstanding professional references
Position Details
- Role type: Contract or permanent
- Schedule: Part-time or full-time, depending on what works best for the successful candidate
- Location: Remote (candidates may be located anywhere in the United States)
Compensation And Benefits
- The annualized compensation for this position ranges from $180,000 to $210,000 when calculated on a full-time basis.
- Actual pay is based on several factors, including work experience, qualifications, credentials, role requirements, and location.
- Latitude Engaged Professionals are W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles of 20 hours per week or more, including a qualified 401(k) plan.
