Remote Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java code.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code in accordance with company standards.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks, and troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Java.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms or modern frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (e.g., Hibernate).
• Familiarity with build automation tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Proficient in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
