Remote IP Coder (PRN)

About the role

Coding services are provided at a facility located across the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan. The position requires 2-4 years of IP coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely coding of medical records
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and staff
• Adhere to HIPAA and other privacy laws

Requirements

• CCS, RHIT, RHIA credentials required
• M-F daytime hours required

Qualifications

Experience with 3M Empower systems is preferred.

Skills

Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with electronic health record systems are essential.

$32.00 - $40.00 per hour
