Remote IOP Licensed Clinical Therapist (Afternoons/Evenings)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions within the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), for patients with substance use disorders, both in-person and via telehealth, embodying the Steadfast patient-first ethos.
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment and discharge plans that align with IOP level-of-care requirements and evidence-based best practices.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support patient recovery.
- Collaborate with all clinic-level team members to formulate and execute patient care plans, including Advanced Practice Providers, Medical Assistants, and Peer Recovery Specialists, ensuring integrated treatment approaches.
- Support patients in crisis intervention situations and coordinate higher levels of care when necessary.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
- Pioneer innovative ways of improving access and overall care for disadvantaged, marginalized populations.
- Champion the company’s mission by modeling compassion and fostering trust and strong relationships with patients and communities.
- Educate patients and families on SUD, co-occurring disorders, and available resources to support sustained recovery and overall health.
- Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education to stay current with best practices in SUD treatment.
Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or LCMHC in Tennessee
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience providing therapy in an IOP, PHP, or comparable treatment setting.
- Certification in addiction counseling is a plus.
- Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment modalities.
- Ability to effectively interact with diverse staff, patients, and community members.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible, can-do mentality, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

- Preferred: Qualified and interest in obtaining a license in North Carolina
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during patient sessions and team meetings.
- Frequent use of hands for typing, writing, and handling clinical documentation.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of materials (e.g., patient files, training supplies) up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to quickly respond to emergencies, including assisting patients in distress or crisis situations.
- Visual and auditory acuity to assess patient needs, read documentation, and communicate effectively.
- Potential exposure to high-stress situations requiring emotional resilience and de-escalation skills.
