About the Opportunity
The Remote Human Resources Generalist - Manager is responsible for leading the full employee lifecycle and people operations during a period of growth. This role partners with leadership to develop scalable HR processes and enhance the overall staff experience, serving as a key resource in compliance, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and strategic HR support.
Responsibilities
- Manage multi-state compliance and full-cycle payroll using Rippling HRIS
- Maintain audit-ready employee records
- Drive full-cycle recruiting from job description creation to onboarding
- Administer employee benefits and design engagement programs
- Support professional development initiatives
- Provide coaching and HR policy guidance to managers
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years as a generalist managing multiple functions
- Strong knowledge of California and Arizona employment laws
- Availability to work full-time during Pacific Time Zone business hours
- Experience in healthcare or regulated industries preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; HR certification (PHR/SHRM-CP) is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to handle confidential information
- Desired: Proficiency in Rippling HRIS and experience in high-growth or start-up environments
Pay Range and Compensation Package
Salary range: $65,000 to $75,000
