Responsibilities

  • Professionally manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls to schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments across various clinical specialties.
  • Accurately capture and update patient demographic, insurance, and medical information in electronic record systems.
  • Provide patients with essential information regarding their appointments, including preparation instructions, clinic locations, and necessary documentation.
  • Liaise effectively with clinical staff and different departments to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
  • Address patient enquiries and resolve scheduling conflicts with empathy, patience, and a commitment to service excellence.
  • Maintain strict adherence to data protection and patient confidentiality regulations.
  • Utilise multiple IT systems simultaneously to manage patient information and scheduling requests.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service, call centre, or administrative role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional and compassionate telephone manner.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and the ability to learn new software and scheduling platforms quickly.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A resilient and positive attitude, with a genuine desire to help people.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay
