Remote Family Law Paralegal

We’re a growing family law firm looking for experienced family law paralegals based and experienced in the state of Texas. This position is open statewide as part of our continued expansion across Texas. We are actively growing our footprint and developing talent to support our long-term vision of serving clients throughout the state.

The Law Office of Bryan Fagan excels in family, estate planning & probate, and criminal law matters. We have 11 offices in Texas: 2 offices in Houston (Corporate and River Oaks), and 1 office in Atascocita, Humble, Kingwood, The Woodlands, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Fort Worth, and Humble.

Responsibilities

• Drafting pleadings
• Preparing discovery
• Filing documents with the court
• Preparing trial exhibits
• Calendaring meetings and appointments
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 5+ years of exact work experience in family law in the state of Texas (7+ years and board certification highly preferred)
• Associate’s degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (in lieu of education, 7+ years of exact experience in Texas will be accepted)
• Located in Texas
• Excellent typing skills and computer literacy, including a solid understanding of MS Office and/or Google Suite applications
• Proficiency in Clio and TxDoc or similar software
• Ability to focus on details, handle multiple tasks, and remain highly organized
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional demeanor and positive communicator
• Reliable, hard-wired internet connectivity
• Dedicated, distraction-free workspace suitable for professional legal work and confidential communications
• Willingness to go into a local office as needed, unless waived by managing/senior attorney

• Competitive pay: $40,000–$80,000 (based on years of experience)
