Remote Enterprise Cloud Architect Consultant

Piper Companies is seeking an Enterprise Cloud Architect Consultant to lead architecture strategy and technical delivery for large-scale enterprise cloud transformation initiatives. The Enterprise Cloud Architect Consultant will partner directly with enterprise executives and technical teams to define transformation strategies, develop cloud architectures, and guide complex technology initiatives through implementation. Responsibilities of the Enterprise Cloud Architect Consultant: Partner with enterprise executives and technology leaders to understand business objectives, technical constraints, organizational structures, and transformation priorities.Lead discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and requirements-gathering workshops.Translate business objectives into actionable enterprise technology strategies and transformation roadmaps.Develop enterprise transformation roadmaps spanning technology, platforms, applications, people, governance, and operations.Evaluate business cases, cost considerations, organizational requirements, and implementation priorities.Develop enterprise and cloud reference architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.Design solutions around complex customer technology environments and existing enterprise architectures.Define cloud migration and application modernization strategies.Support the design of enterprise cloud landing zones and compliant cloud environments.Develop architectural roadmaps for migrating and onboarding enterprise applications.Remain engaged throughout implementation to ensure architecture strategies translate into successful technology solutions.Serve as a primary technical and strategic advisor to enterprise customers.Present architecture recommendations and transformation strategies to C-suite and senior technology leaders.Facilitate executive and technical workshops and translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.Navigate complex stakeholder environments and competing organizational priorities.Build strong relationships across executive, architecture, engineering, program management, and compliance teams.Provide technical leadership across complex, cross-functional, multi-year transformation initiatives. Qualifications for the Enterprise Cloud Architect Consultant: 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, infrastructure architecture, technology consulting, or a related discipline.Significant experience in a client-facing technology consulting environment.Demonstrated experience leading enterprise architecture or large-scale cloud transformation initiatives.Strong understanding of modern cloud architecture and enterprise infrastructure.Experience developing enterprise or cloud reference architectures.Experience with cloud migration and/or application modernization initiatives.Ability to translate business objectives into technology strategies and actionable implementation roadmaps.Experience partnering directly with technical engineering teams through implementation.Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.Strong executive presence with experience presenting technical strategy to senior business and technology leaders.Excellent communication, facilitation, consulting, and stakeholder-management skills.Ability to operate effectively within complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience leading multi-year enterprise cloud transformation programs.Experience developing cloud landing zone and enterprise cloud adoption strategies.Strong background working across business, architecture, engineering, governance, and compliance organizations.Experience advising executive stakeholders on technology strategy, transformation priorities, and investment decisions.
