Cloud Architect | Remote

Type: Contract • Compensation: $40 - $100/hour • Location: Remote • Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable microservices-based solutions on AWS to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to translate business requirements into comprehensive technical blueprints.
• Design and maintain infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools to ensure efficient deployment and management.
• Ensure solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements, including reliability, security, and performance standards.
• Mentor stakeholders on cloud architecture best practices and emerging trends to foster knowledge sharing and skill development.
• Document architecture decisions and communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Have strong relevant experience architecting and deploying microservices-based applications.
• Possess deep hands-on experience with AWS core services and infrastructure as code.
• Demonstrate mastery of Docker and cloud-native container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Have strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to address complex challenges.
• Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively.
• Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
