Remote Distech Support Engineer

About the role

We're seeking a Remote Technical Support Engineer with deep expertise in Distech Controls. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere as long as you have reliable equipment and can handle calls when needed.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for technical issues on Distech systems, troubleshooting over phone, email, and remote sessions.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in EC-gfxProgram, ENVYSION, and ECLYPSE/ECB controllers.
• Support field technicians and clients in getting systems back online and guide them through fixes step-by-step.
• Investigate control sequences, graphics, and points lists to identify issues.
• Handle integration challenges involving BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.
• Properly log cases and keep clients informed until issues are resolved.
• Report recurring issues to the team to prevent future problems.
• Create support documents and quick guides to streamline processes.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on Distech experience, essential.
• Strong knowledge of EC-gfxProgram, ENVYSION, and ECLYPSE/ECB controllers.
• A solid understanding of HVAC and standard sequence operations.
• Experience with BACnet and integration with third-party devices.
• Patience and excellent communication skills to walk clients through fixes.
• The ability to manage your caseload independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to haves

• Data center or mission-critical experience.
• Experience in healthcare, lab, pharmaceutical, or trading floor environments.
• Experience with Niagara or other BAS platforms.
• Industry certifications.
