Description BCA Financial Services is seeking an experienced Remote Director of Application Services to lead the administration, modernization, and performance of our enterprise application environment. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, integration, security, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications, automation platforms, and consumer-facing technologies that support operational excellence and business growth. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience and a proven track record of managing enterprise applications within the Accounts Receivable Management (ARM), financial services, healthcare revenue cycle, or other highly regulated environments. What We Offer Competitive starting salaryFully RemoteMedical, dental, vision, GAP, and life insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and paid holidaysCompany-provided equipment What You'll Do Leadership Lead and manage application services personnel, establishing priorities, monitoring workload, removing operational obstacles, and ensuring timely delivery of support and project commitments.Lead the Application Services function, aligning technology initiatives with business objectivesPartner with the CIO and business leaders to drive modernization, innovation, and operational excellenceManage application services budgets, vendors, and strategic technology investments Enterprise Applications & Operations Oversee administration, support, monitoring, and optimization of enterprise applications, automation platforms, and databasesEnsure high availability, performance, reliability, and effective incident managementDirect Tier III application support, batch processing, job scheduling, and production issue resolution Automation & Digital Transformation Drive workflow automation initiatives leveraging orchestration tools, RPA, AI, and emerging technologiesIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance scalabilityEstablish performance metrics to measure business impact and operational improvements Integrations & Technology Modernization Lead the implantation of application modernization efforts, cloud adoption initiatives, and API-driven integrationOversee system integrations, data exchange, ETL processes, and middleware solutionsEvaluate and implement technologies that improve operational performance, customer experience, and business outcomes Consumer & Client Technology Solutions Support digital engagement channels including consumer portals, online payments, SMS, email communications, and self-service technologiesPartner with stakeholders to enhance the customer experience through technology and process improvementsSupport client implementations, application configuration, testing, and deployment activities Governance, Security & Compliance Ensure applications comply with security, governance, regulatory, and risk management requirementsMaintain disaster recovery, business continuity, change management, and operational control processesPartner with Infrastructure and Information Security teams to safeguard application environments Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)10+ years of experience supporting or managing enterprise business applications5+ years of leadership experience managing application support, systems analysis, or technology teamsMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience with ActiveBatch, Caché, FACS ARM, or a comparable ARM platformProven success leading automation, digital transformation, application modernization, and process improvement initiativesStrong experience with APIs, system integrations, ETL processes, workflow automation, and enterprise application architectureExperience managing vendors, software licensing, technology budgets, and service agreementsFamiliarity with cloud technologies, AI-enabled solutions, and regulated industry compliance requirementsHealthcare data exchange and EHR integration experience is a plus Competency Requirements Strategic Vision & Execution Coaching & MentoringChange LeadershipResults Orientation Innovation and Creativity Leadership and Influence Operation ExpertiseEmotional Intelligence Work-From-Home Requirements Must reside in: AZ, FL, GA, MO, MS, NC, NE, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, or VAQuiet, private workspaceHigh-speed internet (minimum 20 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload) with ability to hardwire ethernet cable from modem to computerWi-Fi and hotspots are not supportedMust meet tech requirements before training begins BCA Financial Services, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity at all levels of the organization.
